Choosing an appropriate gift for the project professionals in your life is always difficult so we’ve but together some ideas for affordable presents or Secret Santa gifts

What a strange year it has been. Global pandemics aside, I think we will all be glad to see the back of 2020 and put our feet up for a bit.
One thing I know is that every year despite being planning professionals, some of you will be taking your present shopping down to the wire. Last posting day flies by, Christmas eve looms, and still they leave it to the very last minute. Thank god for Amazon Prime, I hear you cry.
I read a report once that said TEN million Brits have left it as late as Christmas DAY to finish their shopping, with desperate spending sprees online, in corner shops and petrol stations. And if you are really desperate, a tip from an old colleague of mine airports open 24/7. He resorted to buying a cheap flight ticket so he could get access to the duty-free shop for perfume and jewels. Drastic measures!

Choosing an appropriate gift for the Project Professionals in your life is always difficult so we’ve but together some ideas for affordable Christmas presents or Secret Santa gifts . If you’d just like to gift something small to say ‘Thanks’ or have a good Christmas break, you’ll probably be able to find something in our list!

First on the list is one of our own making (cue cheeky plug for Stoneseed). We have just released our fourth eBook. Bursting with a generous amount of Project Management focussed blogs, covering a multitude of topics, all from genuine PM experiences and stories, Straight Talk on Project Management Volume IV is available now. But if you want something to wrap, the first three books are now available as paperbacks from Amazon ..( volume four will be available in paperback in the New Year)
Sounds a bit dull, but SO useful to those organised souls out there who are working from home offices. And this one comes with the added ‘fun’ of slotting together like a puzzle.
Something small but personalised. This one made me chuckle - "Brain Has Too Many Tabs Open" - a very relatable phrase on the front and can be personalised underneath. A nice little gift to let someone know you’re thinking about them. Also supporting a small business by purchasing from Etsy.
Not something I thought I would be including on a Christmas gift list, but there you go. Unfortunately, I think this is something that will also be sticking around for a while so why not make it fun! There are so many designs out there, you’re sure to find one that fits the personality of the person you’re buying for. This is just one I thought was amusing!
Lastly, something just for a little bit of fun and from the comfort of your own home! I came across these when looking for a present for my Dad. I thought it was really different and a good way to keep the cogs turning!
All the gifts listed above are on the affordable scale with nothing reaching above £20. So, if you’re looking for a small gift, just to show your appreciation for a co-worker or a stocking filler for a family member – these are perfect!
Wishing you all the very best of Christmas and Holiday breaks!
